We have a little friend that visits us as we head to school in the am and every morning I forget my camera-- so on this one morning it was sitting in our tree and peeping at me!

So----- We ended up selling some junk at the yard sale, opened a room slightly-- but now have a bunch of boxes of stuff from the Attic/man cave crowding the front room. HAHA! So today we had insulation run in the attic and it looked like mice running through the tubing-- see the picts!

Next we will have quotes for patio done as this is presently what my back yard looks like and I am waiting for Grandma to fall through the boards one of these days on the deck!

First Day of school

Here is my first grader! We received a letter a week before school to let us know how poorly his school did last year and did we want to move him to another better academic school. Gavin didn't want to go to another school as his friends wouldn't be there. So we decided to let him return. Well we attended the open house on Monday and met the principal and she was over the top so to say. She put her hand up and told the kids that it meant to "zip your lips". Both Rob and I looked at each other with the "oh no she didn't" look. So we met his teacher and I was just not impressed. Yet we let Gavin go.

Gavin was upset because it was cool and cloudy on the first day of school.

So on an end note-- Gavin liked his first day, his girlfriend is in his class, his buddies are in the classrooms around him and he is now friends with another little boy named Gavin. So far so good!

Gavin has been very creative since we have been back from vacation. He woke up one day and said "Mom, I have been thinking about a great creation! Can I make it?"

Well today he wanted to make dessert and he wrote out his recipe with help with spelling and enclosed is the recipe, dessert and enjoying it!

Vacation

June 21st- Misty and Mandy arrived from Florida.
June 22nd-- We loaded up and headed out for Augusta at 0400. After our normal pit stops we arrived around 830 pm and from then on it was non-stop.
We went to many, many, many dinosaur museums! Camped/fished at the lake for the 4th of July weekend and were not only sunburnt but eaten alive by mosquito's. Took a quick trip to North Dakota to visit my grandparents. It all ended way too soon-- but home now and back to the same old, same old!
