Fall Festivities

I Love Fall!!!! Pretty much everything about it!!! From the harvesting, to smell of wood smoke in the air, to the crunch of the leaves underfoot and last but not least HALLOWEEN!!!!!

So Gavin and I went to Old Colorado City's Scarecrow Festival one Sunday and were sadly disappointed that there were only 2 that stood out. One we took a picture of for Grandma Carol and her love of cows and the other was just plain cool! Best one there!

Gavin sampled the bubblegum ice cream here

If you click on this-- it is a really cool wolf!

Here are pictures of my set-up for my Halloween village this year

Western theme
Cemetery view-- need to cover the back to hide wires yet!
This is the partial scene from above the entertainment center I tried a new placement so we will see how this works this year.

Happy Birthday!

So here is an old picture-- scanned from my scanner and old negatives

Can't quite decide if I am 39 years old or young-- some days are easier to decide than others.

But for now I am going to enjoy my day and see what it has planned. Mom and Dad called and I am kind of glad it was not at 5am-- even though I was awake then.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and wishes on this day!

More recent from this summer when I was trying to be a Montana Freewoman ! hahahaha

Actually protecting myself from killer mosquitos'!

Our Little Friend

We have a little friend that visits us as we head to school in the am and every morning I forget my camera-- so on this one morning it was sitting in our tree and peeping at me!
Yep -- you guess it!!
A Black Squirrel

House updates

So----- We ended up selling some junk at the yard sale, opened a room slightly-- but now have a bunch of boxes of stuff from the Attic/man cave crowding the front room. HAHA! So today we had insulation run in the attic and it looked like mice running through the tubing-- see the picts!

Goliath's soon to be dog run/cage

Next we will have quotes for patio done as this is presently what my back yard looks like and I am waiting for Grandma to fall through the boards one of these days on the deck!

Our Sea of Weeds that are as tall as the dog!

The rickety and wobbly porch!

So wish us luck with our endeavors-- and I hope it turns out how I envision it!
