Spring Carnival at School

As a member of PTO, we planned a spring carnival for the school.  So as a member I was baking cakes for the cake walk.  First one turned out beautifully, second one oozed and over and tried to catch the oven on fire and the third one fell horribly!!!  So I cheated-- but here are my cakes, and one of our friends sent a cake-- which was beautiful and I had a hard time not keeping it at home and enjoying it ourselves!

But a good time was had at the carnival, great turnout and here are picts of our games and Gavin enjoyed putting his teachers in jail!

Easter 2010

Easter 2010, came really early this year and I really wasn't too prepared for it, but I feel more and more unprepared for most holidays this year. The weather was warm, I had worked the night before and Gavin and Rob went to the gun range while I slept and Gavin left a message for the Easter bunny to wait to come after he left the house. With the weather being nice, the Easter bunny hid the eggs outside and Gavin had fun searching for them when he got home.
